WELL, Molly and Eric threw one heck of a wedding at the remodeled Renaissance Philadelphia Downtown Hotel. The best part though, is that all parts of their day were at the same location, which makes for a pretty efficient timeline. And wow, I have to say, this hotel is so modern looking now and a must see if you are traveling to Philadelphia.
Molly wore an incredible lace gown and accessorized with not one, but two jacket options – a hand-painted leather jacket (I went crazy in a good way when I saw this) and a vintage wrap that belonged to her grandmother. Her bridesmaids looked stunning in a dark red dresses and white faux furs to match their bride.
Eric and his groomsmen kept it classic with black tuxes, suspenders complete with a white pocket square. The groom also wore some custom cuff links that his at the time soon-to-be wife had gifted him. In the spirit of giving, the groomsmen were pretty thrilled to receive some custom yeti ramblers while the girls got some cute pjs. The groom was also sporting some custom socks from Divvyup with his and his wife’s face on them! Who doesn’t want to wear the face of their significant other on their socks?
Molly and Eric put so much thought into their wedding and all their incredible vendors! Their calligrapher customized some painted glass signs for their signature cocktails, welcome sign, champagne bottle, and pretty much all of the signage. Guests absolutely loved the custom photo booth backdrop created through Blushing Drops which the couple paired with some polaroid cameras. They ended up with a really fun guestbook that combined polariod photos of guests and handwritten notes. Molly and Eric’s florist made the most beautiful bouquet (that included some succulents) and incredible bridesmaid floral hoops along with some centerpieces for their reception. I adore this florist and her incredible work.
We were in both the couple’s and my own favorite areas of Philly, Old City, so we had to stop at Dock Street, The Second Bank and a few other places along the way for some photos.
