Well Vermont is certainly a nice place to be in the fall, especially during that peak foliage window. The bride, Leah, has incredible style and some very talented friends who DIY designed the ceremony location as well as the reception room. The groom, Danny, is in the military, so he sported his own white uniform for the occasion. The two of them both wearing white really dazzled against all the gorgeous colors of autumn.
The two wed in front of a quaint white barn surrounded by the colors of fall at the Woodstock Inn located in Vermont. Area rugs created the aisle and a plethora of candles created a great focal point for the grinning couple. The bridesmaids wore a variety of dresses that were all the same color but differed in texture, cut and silhouette. Many of the groomsmen were military and dressed accordingly while the non-military groomsmen dressed in classic black suits.
Reception tables were elegant and romantic, with tapered candles, glass bowls, candles of varying heights and delicate floral arrangements, decorated by non other than Leah’s close friends, Liz and Caitlin, who have helped design their fair share of weddings this year. They have a real talent for creating an incredible romantic and elegant atmosphere with things they find pretty much wherever they go. Did I mention they arranged the bouquets too? That’s a lot of talent right there.
The bride is Jewish, so the ceremony and reception included a few Jewish traditions, such as the breaking of the glass and the hora. Danny is in the military, so of course there were also some elements of a military wedding such as the sword arch while the couple process down the aisle and of course cutting the cake with a sword as well.
We were in Vermont during prime fall foliage, again, PRIME FALL FOLIAGE, so we woke up early the next morning to get some incredible photos a top a nearby mountain. The views were STUNNING and although it was difficult waking up super early after a night of celebrating, I think we got some incredible photos that we otherwise would not have had time to create.
