When it comes to photography, I love color, moments and a good story. Please check out my blogs to see recent work.
Mary and Ed are a fun couple. I knew that when I photographed their engagement session and both sets of their parents came to join in on the fun. I stand by what I said in their engagement session post, I might start welcoming couple’s parents so we have an extra set of hands. Because I knew this going in, I had a sneaking suspicion that 1- there would be quite a few laughs this day and 2- they were 100% stuffing cake in each other’s faces. I was totally right.
Mary and Ed had their wedding at the newly renovated Overbrook Country Club. Their new modern look blew me away! Such a gorgeous space with a ton of surprises. The church was one that Mary grew up going to, and has several photos around for various sacraments so it was quite special that they were able to have their ceremony there so many years later. The ceremony was officiated by a priest that Mary knew personally and I recognize from photographing at Saint Joes University.
These two opted to forego a traditional guestbook by instead having guests sign a jenga game pieces, which I am sure their guests had a blast filling out! They brought some more creativity in with some custom koozies and a clever hashtag #DontGoBrakinMyHeart.
